Exterior shutters have long been used to 'dress a house up' as a means of adding some colour and relief to an otherwise plain façade, and are a stylish and aesthetically pleasing feature to add to any house or home. 18th Century Georgian Architects incorporated exterior shutters into their original design so successfully that today we consider shutters a classic feature of Georgian Architecture.
