Plantation shutters Cedar

Excellent, high-end product extensively used in loft style apartments and barn conversions.  Cedar is widely acknowledged to be the best timber for technical and aesthetic reasons and is ideal where you want to achieve a very natural look.

Colours

Available in two oiled finishes.  Each finish has a light to dark range due to the variance in how the wood absorbs the colour.

Cedar contains oil that can possibly come out after exposure to the sun. This can make the natural colour become darker than when it was first installed, is not related to the finishing process, but is a natural occurrence for this type of wood. Customers need to be aware of this possibility when ordering. 

Due to the nature of material manufacturing, colours may vary slightly between dye lots. You cannot match two Shutter panels made at the same time or even match the component parts.  The stile will have come from a different part of the tree than the top rail and the louvres may have come from a different tree altogether.  This feature is amplified if Shutters are ordered at different times i.e. buying a room at a time and we advise that the whole house is done at one time.

Slight variations may also occur between the finished products and the colour samples.
